Followers of the Christian faith need to increase their sense of knowledge and wisdom in understanding the Old Testament Genesis Commentary.

The purpose of the revelation of this Old Testament Genesis commentary is to admit the Lord as the one and only creator of the universe. However, he is a maker of everything in between sky and earth in mere six days. So, it is his complete command over the world, which shows his power and strength to his creations. GOD has beautifully designed this world and made the sky a shelter to cover everything under it. He formed the earth and put mountains on it to keep a balance. Mountains are ideal to keep the earth stable and avoid the hazards of tremors and quakes in the world.

Nevertheless, GOD decided to build the first human in the universe and created Adam with sand and mud. After the final creation, the Lord ordered all his angels to bow down before his formation. Everybody followed the order, except the one who was Iblis, who was the closest to ALMIGHTY GOD. But he disobeyed the command and showed his preference over the creation of Adam. He was proud to be made from smoky fire and found the superiority. GOD expelled him immediately from the paradise, and enmity formed between them till the final judgment day. He made his claims to mislead humans from their righteous path. In his reply, GOD also made his promise to forgive their sins and shower his blessings on his true believers and followers.

First Revenge of Satan

Satan took his first revenge on Adam and Eve and persuaded them to eat the forbidden fruit. It is narrated in the bible as the story of a serpent who entered heaven and first approached Eve, who was also newly created from the rib of Adam. She was formed to be a lifetime partner of his husband, Adam, and to eliminate his loneliness. Satan asked Eve to eat the forbidden fruit on a tree in the midst of the garden. But she initially refused and said that ALMIGHTY GOD has strictly prohibited even reaching near it. The devil was very clever and convinced her to taste it and find it very delicious. It grew her desire and interest, and she also went to the tree along with her husband and plucked that fruit to have it. She also presented a piece to Adam to bite and taste it. As they ate this fruit, they felt the need to excrete, and their shame was revealed before them. They hurriedly ran around to hide their bare bodies with fig leaves. In the meantime, the voice of the Lord approached them to ask about the matter. They felt ashamed to face their master and made him angry by their disobedience. GOD ordered them to leave the paradise and sent them to earth for their punishment. They were not banished for a temporary while, but for the permanent and lifetime.

Introduction of Sin and Murder

The Old Testament Genesis commentary describes about spreading of sin and the execution of the first murder on the earth. It happened between two real brothers and sons of Adam and Eve. However, there are two stories quoted in the Genesis about the killing of Abel by his elder brother Cain over the acceptance of his offerings to GOD ALMIGHTY. Cain was the first farmer in the world, while his brother was a shepherd. Both presented their offerings to GOD, but the Lord accepted the sacrifices of Abel and rejected those of Cain. This made him envious of his brother and led to a face-to-face encounter in the field.

In his rage and fury, the elder brother murdered his younger one. Furthermore, he also disobeyed GOD for which he got his strict punishment. Another story is based on the dispute over the marriage of these brothers with their sister Aclima, who became the spouse of Cain. At that time, it was allowed to marry sisters who were in a real blood relationship. However, it is now completely forbidden and considered a grave sin to perform. He expanded his generations from their marriage and gave birth to their offspring, spreading around the world. But they all spread the extreme level of sin around the globe and led to the destruction.

Punishment in the Form of a Flood

It was in the era of Prophet Noah when their followers were very much involved in their sins and disobedience. They never listened to their messenger and declined his offer to ask for forgiveness and lead a pious life. But they never pay heed to anything. At last, GOD decided to send a flood in their village that destroyed everything. It was a massive destruction of the world after that Lord rebuilt everything right from scratch. He continued to send his books and messengers to provide the right guidance to people.
